Delete your Lorecast account and data

You can ask us to delete your Lorecast account and everything attached to it at any time. There is no form to fill in and no reason required.

How to request deletion

Email stasonvk@gmail.com from the address you signed in with (Google or Apple).
Put “Delete my Lorecast account” in the subject line.
We confirm the request and delete the account within 30 days, then reply to confirm it is done.

We ask you to write from the address you signed in with because that is how we verify the account is yours. If you signed in with Apple and used “Hide My Email”, write from that relay address — it reaches us the same way.

What gets deleted

Your account record: user id, email address, display name.
Your listening history and the stories you saved or rated.
Your settings and usage/diagnostic events tied to your account.

What we keep, and for how long

Purchase records — a minimal record of a pass or pack purchase (transaction id, product, date) is kept for up to 7 years because tax and accounting law requires it. It is no longer linked to your identity.
The stories themselves are not yours to delete — they are written per place, not per person, and contain no personal data.

Deleting data without deleting your account

You can clear the audio Lorecast saved on your device from the app at any time (Settings → downloads). To have your listening history cleared while keeping the account, email us with the same subject line and say so.
