Yes. All Lorecast stories in the Route 66 region are free through December 31, 2027. You do not need to buy a pass for that region during this period. Other regions offer in-app purchases.
Do I need mobile data on the road?
Download Route 66 and its audio before leaving, and check that the download has finished. Your phone’s GPS can then trigger downloaded stories without mobile data.
Can I try it before my trip?
